  4.   THIS IS NOT FREE SOFTWARE! If you paid a 'public domain' vendor for this
  5.   program, you paid for the service of copying the program, and not for the
  6.   program itself. Proceeds from such transactions would never reach the maker
  7.   of this product. You may evaluate this product for a period of 30 days, but
  8.   if you decide to make use of it, you should register your copy.

  10.   To register : fill in the file REGISTER.FRM and return it to me.

  12.   Registration fee : $10 (Dollars) or Hfl. 15 (Guilders)

  14.   I offer several inducements to you for registering. You are entitled to
  15.   support for EDIR, which can be quite valuable at times.
  16.   The unregistered version of EDIR does print a message every time you use it.
  17.   Once you have become a registered user yourself, this message will be gone
  18.   and your name will be displayed in the help screen (EDIR /?).
  19.  
  20.   Registered users receive a registration key. The registration key contains
  21.   important information such as the licence number and the name of the
  22.   licensee.
  23.   It is NOT allowed to sell or give away the registration key.
  24.   When you enter the registration key in the REGISTER program, a key file
  25.   will be created.
  26.   EDIR searches for the key file in the current directory. If it does not
  27.   find it there, it searches the same directory where the program file
  28.   EDIR.EXE resides. If the key file is corrupt or invalid, EDIR quits and
  29.   an error message will be displayed.
  30.   Although you are allowed to evaluate EDIR for a trial period of 30 days,
  31.   it is ILLEGAL to use EDIR in combination with a key, produced without
  32.   authorization of MAWEK, or generated by any software not distributed by
  33.   MAWEK.
